Meet Jill

Hi, I’m Jill!

I am a Registered Social Worker and a mom of 2 teenagers. I combine my own experiences as a parent with a solid understanding of attachment and child development, along with 20 years of professional experience.

I work with children (age 10+) and families toward growth and healing through evidence-based therapy approaches. As a clinician, I use a blend of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Mindfulness to meet adolescents where they are
in their life journey. I always work from a strength-based perspective and believe psycho-education is a significant component of therapy. I am dedicated to creating meaningful connections with my clients and working collaboratively with families to achieve goals and improve family functioning.

If your child is overwhelmed with feelings of anxiousness, struggles with regulating their emotions, has problems with relationships, struggles with low self-esteem, or engages in self-defeating and/or self-harming behaviours, therapy can help your child overcome these challenges. I support adolescents with behavioural, emotional, and relational difficulties by
designing interventions to help them learn to cope, communicate, self-regulate, and become more emotionally expressive.
